Greetings!

Good morning. Late last night we received word from the AFT-Massachusetts that there is still a small window of opportunity for our members to reach out to their state representatives and senators in the Ed Reform debate. The AFT-Massachusetts is our parent affiliate and our lobbyist on Beacon Hill. The AFT-Mass is asking that we CALL our reps and senators as soon as we can and ask that they give members of the conference committee the following message:

  • Protect collective bargaining rights
  • Protect due process rights
  • Keep the current law as is with Commonwealth Charter Schools
  • Keep the current law as is with Horace Mann Charter Schools
You can get the phone number of your state rep here .
You can get the phone number of your state senator here
Don't know who is your state rep or senator? See here .
Thank you.

Sincerely,

Richard Stutman
