Professor Basch, a Richard March Hoe Professor of Health Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, is interested in behavioral epidemiology, health education program planning, and evaluation with urban and minority populations.
Earlier this year, Boston Public Schools hired Dr. Basch to speak on health- and economic-related disparities found amongst our school population, and how they affect academic achievement. This lecture was the first in a series sponsored by the BTU.
