This workshop focuses on the roles and responsibilities of the SSC in the school’s decision-making process, including recent changes. School leaders, educators, and parents will master foundational concepts needed to develop and maintain an effective School Site Council. Participants will also deepen their understanding of shared decision-making principles and techniques and will receive tools to promote SSC success.

This workshop will take place:

  • Wednesday, November 15 from 5:30-7:30 at Title I Training Center, 445 Warren Street in Dorchester
  • Saturday, December 2 from 10 AM to 2 PM at Parent University at Mario Umana Academy, 312 Border Street in East Boston
  • Thursday, December 14 from 5:30-7:30 at the BTU
