Eve Ewing’s book, Ghosts in the Schoolyard, was released on October 22, just a short while after the McCormack Middle School was called to a meeting in our conference room and informed by district leadership that after the 2019–2020 school year, our students will be sent to Excel High School, our staff will be dispersed, and our building will be renovated and then put up for bid for other schools in Boston in search of a new building.
