BOSTON – Boston Public Schools has reached a tentative three-year contract with the teachers union.
The interim superintendent says the contract gives teachers a 2% raise, makes sure every school has a full-time nurse, adds 23 mental health professionals and provides an extra $100,000 to help homeless students.
The school committee will review the agreement during its meeting on June 12.
