WILD Summer Institute: June 21-23
The Women’s Institute for Leadership Development will hold its 33rd Annual Summer Institute, at Worcester State. WILD is an inspirational program that providers women the leadership vision, confidence, and skills to be more effective organizers in the Massachusetts labor movement and community organizations. The BTU can pay the tuition cost ($250 for room, board, and materials) for a limited number of members. To be considered, please fill out this form by Monday.
NEW — Summer Fun Music Fundraiser: June 22
Compassionate Care Center, an organization supporting new arrivals to the United States with basic English instruction and help in citizenship tests, will host a fundraiser at the Second Church, 600 Washington Street, Dorchester. Funds will benefit services for recent immigrants, as well as a school in Haiti.See the flyer.
