An Opportunity for BTU Members That Would Like to Quit Smoking: Free Nicotine Patch Give-Away
The Boston Public Health Commission kicked off the first ever citywide Free Patch Give-Away this fall (available for Boston residents only).
Many smokers try to quit “cold turkey” since the high costs and lack of information are barriers to using nicotine replacement. With the help of free telephone counseling and nicotine replacement therapy, smokers will receive the support to quit for good.
Help us spread the word! 1-800 QUIT-NOW!
If you would like additional resources about smoking cessation opportunities or tobacco prevention efforts for your staff and students, please contact Jaime Lederer, Tobacco Prevention Program & Policy Manager, Health & Wellness Department, at 617-635-6643×41253.
