New Code of Conduct Forum at the BTU
The BTU, in collaboration with BPS, will be holding a forum to help educators learn about the changes in the new Code of Conduct passed by the School Committee in September.
Restorative Justice in BPS
BPS, working with Suffolk University’s Center for Restorative Justice, is embarking on an effort to improve school climate through the implementation of restorative justice practices. All schools in the District will have the opportunity to participate in restorative justice webinars and have staff trained as trainers.
In addition, three schools will be selected, on the basis of need and interest, as “demonstration projects” for the implementation of restorative practices. The selected schools will receive 25 hours of customized on-site training and 20 days of technical assistance. See here for information. See here for the application. If you have any questions, please contact Jessica Tang or Paul Tritter.
