UPCOMING DEADLINE- Monitors for the Entire School District!
Two Screens for Teachers is buying monitors for the school district with the highest percentage of teachers that sign up for the contest! The deadline is tonight, December 8, at 11:59 p.m.

NEW- BEAMCamp “An UnConference”: December 10
You are invited to attend the B.E.A.M. Virtual UnConference. This space is for all educators who are interested in sharing suggestions and best practices, as well receiving support in problem solving questions, that would make a more equitable and engaging remote learning and teaching experience for our Black students, families and colleagues. NEW- The Grinch Who Stole PILOTS
You’re invited to a PILOT Action Group bike and car caravan to call on our wealthiest neighbors to pay their fair share! Bring your horns and home-made signs. More info and livestream at the PILOT Action Group’s Facebook page.

NEW- Mutual Aid for Hungry Union Members
Local 26 has been raising funds to distribute grocery store gift cards to laid-off workers, but at this point, the amount of need is so great that we have a waiting list of over 650 union members who have applied for and not yet been able to receive a grocery store card. The UNITE HERE Support and Education fund is a 501c(3), and donations will go to buy grocery store cards for hospitality workers. The link to donate is here.

NEW- Tell Governor Baker to Sign Police Reform Legislation
This week the Legislature passed a bill that takes serious steps toward answering those calls — and includes reforms proposed by a diverse array of advocates and elected officials, including Governor Baker himself. The end of session is coming up fast and Governor Baker must act now to approve these common-sense reforms supported by large majorities of Massachusetts residents. Fund for Community Activists Displaced by a Fire
Eight Dorchester community residents were displaced by a fire right before Thanksgiving.  If anyone would like to support their recovery, please consider donating.
