Boston Partners in Your Classroom!
For over 50 years, Boston Partners in Education has matched Boston Public Schools students with experienced academic mentors to help improve their grades and confidence. Mentors meet with students in-person or online – for one hour a week – to help with classwork and homework. Any BPS student in grades K0-12 is eligible to be matched with a mentor in any school subject. To request a mentor for your classroom, simply identify and nominate students who would benefit from another caring adult in their life!

Joy of Learning Grant from Friends of the Boston Schoolyards
Friends of the Boston Schoolyards are offering ten $500 mini-grants to the BPS community. Projects can range from painting in the garden and doing math problems using plants; to writing poetry and reading stories outside, to observing bugs on the school grounds and growing food to eat. Submit a brief application any time from now until March 10 for a chance to receive up to $500 to help your students learn, play, and grow alongside nature this spring!
