MassHire Teen Summer Jobs Program
MassHire Greater Brockton Workforce Board is now accepting applications for their Summer Jobs program. Young adults between the ages of 16-21 can apply today, and if 14-15 year-olds can sign up for the 7-week WAVE volunteer program. Deadline May 19.
NEW- YouthCAN Climate Summit: May 21
BLS Youth Climate Action Network is hosting their Climate Change and Sustainability Summit on May 21 at MIT from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. This is a completely free event, open to all Massachusetts middle and high school students. The event will be highlighting the intersectionality of the climate crisis, and the intersectionality of the solutions we need to address it. Register now!

Haitian Americans in Boston celebrate Haitian Heritage Month 2022 by honoring and highlighting the diverse culture, heritage, and contributions of the Haitian community throughout history. Haitian Heritage Month was first celebrated in the United States in Boston, MA and has since been celebrated for more than 20 years across the nation. We encourage our community to study, observe, and celebrate the Haitian community in our schools and beyond.

NEW- MassCOSH/Teens Lead @ Work Survey about Healthy Schools
The Healthy Schools team at the Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health is hoping to gather data on student and faculty experiences with food access and temperature in relation to COVID in Boston schools. Student interns from Teens Lead @ Work are planning on sending the results from this survey to Boston city council members and others to push for safer and more pleasant learning environments.
