NEW- Apply For a MCIEA Mini-Grant
MCIEA is excited to be offering a series of mini-grants for up to $5,000 for the 2020/2021 school year. MCIEA is awarding grants of up to $5,000 to consortium educators interested in dedicating time to performance assessment design, school quality measures, or for receiving coaching around equity and classroom transformation. Each mini-grant will go towards stipends, hiring substitute teachers, purchasing materials, and more.

Tell Your Legislators to Pass the Housing Stability Bill!
Community, housing, union groups are supporting and campaigning to get the Legislature to pass House 5018 (formerly H 4878) and Senate 2831, An Act to Guarantee Housing Stability During the COVID-19 Emergency and Recovery. It would extend eviction and foreclosure protections for tenants for a year, extend forbearance to homeowners and small landlords owning 15 or fewer units. Call your state representative and state senator and ask them to speak to Speaker DeLeo and Senate President Spilka to bring this legislation to a vote now!
