NEW- MFA Field Trip Focus Group
MFA is introducing a new thematic tour centered on Community and Identity through which students will delve into what art reveals about beliefs and practices across time and cultures, bring their identities and experiences to the foreground, and make connections to their everyday lives. You’re invited to attend a Zoom focus group about in-person field trips on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 4-5 pm. It is a pleasure to send a $20 gift card or MFA publication to participants. NEW- Fundraiser for Student with Cancer
Deena Thomas, 2nd grade student at Lee Academy Pilot School, is in her second recurrence of cancer. Her family is doing everything they can to keep spirits high, so as a school, the Lee is looking anything they can to support Deena and her family. There will be a benefit at Chez Vous skating rink to give support and to bring awareness to childhood cancer December 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. This is a kid-encouraged venue, so the whole family is invited! Chez Vous will be donating half of all admissions sold to Deena’s family and the school will be hosting an auction.
