David Freudberg, the host of Humankind, a series of public radio documentaries produced in association with WGBH/Boston and distributed nationwide by NPR, is looking for a parent or teacher to help with publicity and social media. NEW — Carter G. Woodson Teacher Institute: August 23-24
Join the Inaugural Carter G. Woodson Teacher Institute, a free-two day event including workshops on Black history, literacy for Black children and youth, and Black student achievement. The Institute will introduce a new generation of teachers to the legacy of Carter G. Woodson, giving them the tools necessary to critically engage students in the coming school year. NewRep Theater in Watertown will be holding auditions for the production of Charles Dickens’ famous novel, Oliver!
