A message from the city’s group insurance office:
“It has recently come to our attention that a small number of City of Boston subscribers have received ID cards from Harvard Pilgrim even though they are no longer covered by Harvard Pilgrim as of July 1.
“The error was due to a timing issue with Harvard Pilgrim processing a termination file. Unfortunately the file was not processed prior to ID cards being printed.
“Harvard Pilgrim is sending an apology letter this Friday to the 126 subscribers that were impacted.”
