Back to School Toolkits and First Meeting Info
Building Reps, you all should have received your Back to School Toolkits in the mail last week. These packets will help you facilitate your 30-minute union meeting on the first day back to school. We have updated the PowerPoint to adapt and share (find it under Back to School Resources). If you do not have a Building Rep or have not received your packet, please email email@example.com ASAP! Remember that ALL members, both current and new, must fill out the updated membership card or update their information online and turn it in to you to bring to the first membership meeting on Wednesday, September 13.

September 8 Paycheck Reminder and Helpful Credit Union Information
Every 7-8 years, BPS must make this change to align the pay calendar with the school year calendar. This is a result of the pay calendar running 364 days (i.e., 26 14-day pay periods), one day less than the actual calendar year. You can read the details, but the bottom line is remember to plan ahead and save!
Credit Union Information: Skipping Payments
The Tremont Credit Union and the City of Boston Credit Union have provided info for credit union members who may want to skip a payment due to the upcoming pay calendar adjustment.
- For City of Boston Credit Union members, see their memo or contact Daniel Picard with questions at 617-635-3008.
- For Tremont Credit Union members, see their memo or visit tremontcu.com/skip.
