As many of you are aware, educators in our fine schools across the city experience parking challenges nearly every day at their worksite. We have heard you and want to advocate for you. Therefore, the Boston Teachers Union will be hosting a meeting with members of the Boston City Council. The meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 6 from 4:30 to 6 PM and will be held at the Boston Teachers Union Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss parking availability adjacent and around Boston Public Schools to communicate how parking availability affects our work
to propose solutions.
There will be a period of public comment for attendees. We ask that if you plan to speak, arrive a few minutes early and sign up to speak.
We look forward to having an opportunity to open a dialogue with the Boston City Council about our concerns. See attached letter.
All BTU members invited. Please sign up here for our planning purposes.
