Attention high school teachers! The BPS Office of Global Travel and the district’s World Languages Department are partnering with EF Tours to plan a citywide trip for students to Spain in 2022. Teacher Appreciation Scholarships for school supplies

WILD Summer Institute: June 21-23
The Women’s Institute for Leadership Development will hold its 33rd Annual Summer Institute, at Worcester State. WILD is an inspirational program that providers women the leadership vision, confidence, and skills to be more effective organizers in the Massachusetts labor movement and community organizations. The BTU can pay the tution cost ($250 for room, board, and materials) for a limited number of members. To be considered, please fill out this form by June 3.

Current high school seniors that have been accepted into a university or college are invited to apply for this $1200 scholarship, to help one student a year lessen their financial burden from school. NEW — America Transformed: Mapping the 19th Century: July 24-26
Open to teachers in Grades 4-12, the Leventhal Map & Education Center and Museum of Fine Arts present an exhibition which encourages hands-on strategies for teaching with maps, visuals, and documents. Native educations from the Akomawt Educational Initiative will work with participants on teaching the history of westward expansion through the lens of maps and art at both institutions.
