Arts Organizing Committee
Please notice that there has been a change in date for the Arts Committee meeting, which will now be held this Wednesday, June 24 at the BTU hall at 4:30 PM. Please join us as we wrap up the school year and solidify our next steps to advocate for quality arts programs in all of our schools.

Boston Education Justice Alliance
Looking for ways to stay involved in the fight for education this summer? The BTU, along with other pro public school education organizations, have joined forces with the Boston Education Justice Alliance (BEJA) to fight for the schools our communities deserve.

BEJA’s next meeting will be this Thursday, June 25 from 6-7:30 PM at Jobs with Justice at 3353 Washington Street in JP. If you are interested in talking to parents and community members this summer, BEJA will be hosting a Canvassing Prep Workshop on June 30 and July 7, also at Jobs with Justice from 5:30-7 PM. Last but not least, learn about the BPS budget on June 24 and July 1 at BEJA’s Introductory Budget Workshop at the Dudley Branch Library, 65 Warren Street in Roxbury from 11 AM to 1 PM. See this flyer for more information on these events. And check out the Summer Education Series trainings flyer as well.
