TONIGHT: Boston City Council Candidate Meet-and-Greet; Other Volunteer Opportunities

We are gearing up for Boston’s Preliminary Election Day on September 14! In order to have a successful contract campaign and to make sure we are heard in City Hall, we need strong allies on the City Council. Join fellow BTU members on the phones and on the doors to make sure we win!

Joel Richards, BTU Member for District 4:  The BTU will be hosting an Educator Day canvass for Joel at 35 Kenwood Street in Dorchester on September 11 starting at 10 a.m. President Jessica Tang will be joining us to launch this event. Sign up HERE to join us!

Kendra Hicks, District 6 candidate is campaigning everyday across the district in Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury. If you are available, the campaign could use extra support in the West Roxbury area. Sign up HERE to volunteer with her campaign.

Angelina Camacho, District 7 candidate will canvas every weekday from 6 to 8 p.m.,  Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m., as well as on Sundays from 3 to 7 p.m. They also have phonebanks on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Sign up to volunteer with the campaign HERE.
