Tell Us What Makes a Good School
The Massachusetts Consortium for Innovative Education Assessment (MCIEA), a collaborative of seven school districts including Boston, is currently developing ways to more fairly and accurately measure school quality, going beyond MCAS or PARCC scores and addressing factors like school culture and teacher satisfaction that matter to a broad spectrum of education stakeholders. Teacher voices are critical in this work. The BTU is hosting a focus group on Tuesday, February 7 from 4:30-5:30 PM. In this focus group, you will have the opportunity to provide input about what should be included in a measure of school quality. If you are interested in participating, please email Paul Tritter ASAP and please include your school and role. Space is limited.
