Back by Popular Demand: Getting Started with Google
The hugely popular BTU Getting Started with Google series is back! In this 10-hour course (8 in person, 2 online) educators with little to no comfort using google apps and tools can get an introduction to all that google has to offer. Participants will come away with a grasp of Google web applications that can streamline your everyday work, increase your ability to collaborate with students and colleagues, and bring a refreshing technological boost to your instruction and your classroom community. Fund for Teachers Deadline and Final Info Sessions
The deadline for applications for Fund for Teachers is January 31. Begin your application and design the professional learning experience that’s just what you and your students need. Our two final info sessions are scheduled for this Thursday, January 19 in Allston and at the BTU. RSVP now. Both sessions are led by our team of Peer Assistants and Consulting Teachers and will be held from 3-6 PM. These are drop-in sessions with a focus on secondary from 3-5 and elementary from 4-6 with a brief presentation and individualized support. Bring a lesson or unit plan you’d like to work on. The BU School of Education Consortium announces the 2017-2018 call for proposals and grants application form. This is a great opportunity to apply for funding (up to $5,000 per project) to investigate an aspect of your work that you are interested in learning more about.
