All provisional teachers are reminded that contracted positions–a healthy number– continue to open up through December 1. Provisionals who got a non-renewal letter can collect unemployment compensation on July 1. A letter from the BTU office has gone out with instructions. Please remember that many people–in fact, hundreds–get rehired after July 1 despite the June non-renewal letter.
