For the 13th year, the Rollins Griffith Teacher Center of Boston is offering three $1,500 scholarships to BPS graduates who pursue study in one of the creative arts or who plan on becoming a teacher. These scholarships honor the memory of Rollins Griffith, the first African- American District Superintendent in BPS.
We have sent copies of the application to all headmasters, guidance counselors and arts teachers, along with a cover letter. We request that you help us with the dissemination by calling attention to this opportunity through your publications and or emails. We thank the Rollins Griffith Center for their wonderful contributions to our schools and students.
The AFTMA sponsors eight $1,500 scholarships for member dependents who score highest on a labor history exam. See this document for all information you will need. Those interested should apply as soon as possible.
