Today is BTU Election Day, and walk-in voting will take place from 6 AM to 8 PM. You must bring a picture ID.
All ballots must be filled out at the voting booths provided. Campaign literature may be brought into the voting area but must be taken back out when you are done voting. No cell phone use or conversations will be allowed in the voting area. Copy any notes you want onto paper before coming in.
If you voted by mail but are not sure your ballot was RECEIVED by Friday, June 2, you may come to the in-person voting to check. If your ballot was received at AAA, it will be counted and you will not vote in person. If your ballot was not received, you will be able to vote in person. Either way your vote counts!
Ballots for the final election will be counted immediately following the closing of polls at 8 PM tonight, and results will be announced when AAA has verified the results. Results will also be posted in a special eBulletin.
Reminder: all Election Committee meetings are open to BTU and RTC members. The first 15 minutes are set aside for questions and comments. The next meeting will be at 5 PM on Tuesday, June 13 at the BTU. Election Committee minutes can be found on the BTU website.
