Teacher-led Innovation
From 2014-2016 the BTU invited members to become “public learners” and share their personal learning stories and innovations in practice with the broader BPS and BTU community through our Professional Learning Grants program. Recognizing the success of this model, in 2017 we began a collaboration with Boston Public Schools to create the BTU/BPS School Based Professional Learning Grants program where teams of school-based educators work together to solve authentic challenges that arise in their schools and share their learning with others. Bridging Classrooms with Peer Learning Partners
