Boston Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Brenda Cassellius called in to Boston Public Radio on Monday to discuss the school system’s coronavirus preparedness and how parents can ensure their kids have access to food during the outbreak.

Cassellius said B.P.S. has received a federal waiver to supply meals to students in line with their Summer school model.

“I want all parents to know we are going to step up and feed all our children in Boston. If parents are in need, and they don’t know where [to get food], please come. Go to BostonPublicSchools.org, we’ll be able to answer all your questions and help you out.”
