The Boston Public Schools (BPS), City of Boston, and the Boston Teachers Union (BTU) are pleased to announce that nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 Boston Educator of the Year Awards. The Educator of the Year Awards recognize exemplary educators who go above and beyond to positively influence the lives of BPS students.

“We have so many amazing educators throughout the city, working to improve lives and provide a positive influence for students of the Boston Public Schools,” said Mayor Martin J. Walsh. “The Educator of the Year Awards offers the City an opportunity to showcase the admirable efforts of those teachers who work hard every day to make a lasting impact on our students.”
