One of our members asked us to circulate the following, and we do so gladly:

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

I hope you are well! I am writing to invite you to join me in a candlelight walk on Wednesday, September 16th to speak out against racism and to remember recent victims of racist violence in our country. September 16th is the three-month anniversary of the shootings in Charleston, SC.

In Boston, we’ll be gathering in Dudley Square to walk to the Charles Street AME Church, united as individuals promoting hope and healing.
I have created a blog post with a personal anti-racism action plan, and I encourage you to create your own action plan for yourself! I am happy to help you publish your plan online if you’d like – more detailshere.
See the attached event flyers with more details and please forward this message to your network of family, friends and colleagues. Please use the hashtag #BeTheLight. Questions.
