There will be a Practice/Mock Pool Post Transfer Placement Process (PTPP) Info Session on Friday, June 3 at the BTU from 4:30-6:30 PM. It is for still excessed permanent BPS teacher bargaining unit members. Run jointly by the BTU and the BPS OHC, there will be an explanation of the entire process as well as opportunities to inquire/clarify your status re: PPA (Primary Program Area), seniority, etc. as well as have access to assistance with resume writing and interview skills. There will be a link in the coming weeks with an online overview/power point of the PTPP process in this eBulletin.
The timeline for the PTPP will be:
- June 2: Positions available and seniority lists of excessed teachers by PPA will be posted for review.
- June 3: Info session at BTU
- June 10-16: PTPP will be posted and run online
- June 20-24: Interviews will be done by school’s personnel subcommittees.
- June 27: All selected applicants names must be turned in to OHC by schools
- July 13: Finalized school recommendations/assignments through the PTPP will be sent out to excessed teachers

Resume and Interviewing Workshop
