Co-Teaching Structures: Parallel Teaching Learning Site: February 4, 8 AM -1:30 PM
Thinking about how to best leverage multiple adults in the classroom to support all learners? Come observe a Grade 2 Teaching Team use the co-teaching structure of parallel instruction to maximize adult support and student engagement in their inclusive classroom. This learning site, on 2/4/26, centers on the guiding question: “How can we use intentional co-teaching structures and collaborative planning to expand access and impact for all learners?” Participants will observe the team’s co-teaching approach and hear the intentional planning and instructional decisions made both prior to and during their lessons. Host teachers will join us afterwards to debrief and reflect on the “hows” and “whys” of their practice. Opportunities for follow-up coaching sessions for ALC/PDPs will also be available. Flyer/ RSVP

Middle School Day of Learning: March 9, 8am-2:30pm
Are you looking to strengthen the ways in which you cultivate learning environments and a strong sense of belonging for the middle schoolers in our 7-12 schools? The Telescope Network is hosting a Day of Learning for BPS educators, admin, and coaches serving middle school students on Monday, March 9th at English High School. We’ll explore the classroom routines, instructional moves, culture and climate initiatives, and enrichment opportunities that contribute to learning environments where early adolescents are able to thrive. The session will feature opportunities to observe BPS educators at English High School in action, as well as talk with counselors and support staff about successful initiatives that support belonging.

Wicked Math Learning Site Series: Feb 12 or Feb 26
Join the Telescope Network for our secondary math Learning Site series, where we ask the question: “How do we implement inclusive, student-centered experiences that foster positive math identities and empower students to persevere in advanced math classes?” Educators observe either a SEI Math 3 class (02/12) or an AP Precalculus class (02/26), and receive support to try out a change idea in their own instructional practices.
