NEW — Focus on First Revisions Feedback Meeting
Focus on First is being revised in order to create greater alignment with the Focus on K2 and Focus on Second. We will host a feedback meeting on these changes on Thursday, January 24 at the BTU from 4:30-6:30 PM. Please RSVP if you plan to attend. NEW — The Telescope Network’s Madison Park Learning Site on Data!
In a Learning Site, teachers come together for a full day in a real live classroom. This learning site will be hosted by Liz Peters, 10th grade ELA teacher at Madison Park High School. The topic/question is: How do we create meaningful data with students, for students and to motivate students AND teachers? BPS Incentive for Early Notice of Termination: Due Friday
In an effort to assist in early planning and hiring for the 2019-2020 academic year, BPS is once again offering a $1,500 incentive to eligible members of the teachers unit who inform us of their intent to terminate at the end of the school year. The application must be submitted by January 11. Submitting the application does not mean you have retired. Additionally, submitting the early notification of intent to resign is irrevocable. See this circular for details.

Curricular Census: Give BPS Feedback on Your Instructional Materials
BPS is looking for your thoughts and feedback on the efficacy of your instructional materials — information that they’ve committed to sharing back with teachers and principals to help guide curriculum decisions moving forward. Their short survey should take 10-15 minutes!
