Next year a new contract will be negotiated between the Boston School Committee and Boston Teachers Union (BTU).  The BTU would like to hear from our community stakeholders.  Help us engage our community members by inviting them to open discussions about what teachers, students, parents and community members would like to see as priorities for the upcoming contract negotiations. Ideas and input welcome! Please save the dates and share the flier here. Questions?  Please contact Jessica at jtang@btu.org.

Fight for $15 Rally & March

Tuesday, November 10 at 3:30 PM: As educators we know the economic conditions at home deeply affect the lives of our students, including in the classroom. We believe that all our families deserve at least $15 an hour and a union to fight for their rights. Join us and labor and community allies Tuesday, November 10 from 3:30-5:30 PM at Faneiul Hall for a march to the State House! Let’s march together as educators! If you can make it, please e-mail BTU organizer Jonathan Rodrigues. See the flier for more info.
