Tech Goes Home provides an impactful way to help families gain access to the skills, hardware, and Internet needed for 21st century success. Each course consists of 15 hours of instruction by a TGH-trained staff member from the school in which the course is run. Trainers are paid a stipend based on the number of families that complete each course. Our tutorials focus on topics such as how to find a job online, how to secure a professional email, and how to find online family resources. At the end of the 15 hours, families have the option of purchasing a new computer for $50. We also help eligible participants find and sign up for low-cost home Internet. There is no cost to school to run TGH. In the past five years, more than 15,000 people have completed a TGH course. If you are interested in becoming a TGH school or trainer, please reach out to Dan Noyes. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, September 29. Find out more information.
