Sixth Annual Social Justice Mediation Institute: October 5-6 & 12-14
Vital Village Network is excited to offer the 6th Annual Social Justice Mediation Institute cost-free to selected applicants. Participants in the 40-hour training learn mediation skills to reduce conflict—addressing power dynamics, privilege, and identities—at home, in their neighborhood, with co-workers, and beyond. For teachers, the values and skills which guide mediation will be applicable to fostering an inclusive, collaborative classroom environment, and can extend beyond to supporting conversations with parents and fellow educators by equipping teachers with communication strategies.
