Fund for Teachers: Design Your Own Transformative PD
The BTU is a proud local partner of Fund for Teachers. Applications are now open for this year’s cycle. The Boston program is open to BPS and Boston charter school teachers to apply for grants of $5000 (individuals) or $10,000 (teams) to design professional learning experiences that inspire and sustain them as people and professionals. NEW – Inclusion Done Right – Meeting on November 19, 4:30 pm – 6:30 pm
From East Boston to Mattapan, from Brighton to Dorchester, educators are filling out our Fall 2019 Inclusion Survey and hosting awareness events to discuss experiences with inclusion at their schools.
Join for the next Inclusion Done Right meeting on Tuesday, November 19th, 4:30 – 6:30 pm, at the BTU to plan the next steps in our campaign to advocate for more educators, NOT more licenses, and for the services our students deserve. Families are welcome to join us at this meeting, please help us spread the word and let us know if you need flyers. Also, please let us know if you have an inclusion story to share from your classroom or school. We will contact you to follow up. Please RSVP so we know you are coming and can plan for food and childcare.
