- New Sections of Required 12 Hour Inclusive Ed Course Added
Two sections of the “Curriculum Agnostic” course which is applicable to all contents and curricula have been added just after April Break. Please see vector to register. These 12 hours are required of all classroom teachers this year.In response to Educator feedback, The BPS Teaching & Learning team has created two more opportunities for educators to take their 12 Hour Inclusive Education Course this year. We will now offer a Curriculum Agnostic Foundational (for educators in years 1-3 with their curriculum) and Advancing (for educators 3+ years with their curriculum) course that will start after April break. Courses are listed in Vector. The Telescope Network and Boston Teacher Residency Induction Program are co-hosting a Learning Site in a grade 1 classroom, led by Lane Ward at the Grew Elementary. This Learning Site focuses on the question, “How do we cultivate a safe, productive, and culturally responsive learning environment that demonstrates agency and independence?” Open to all, but recommended for early career educators.
