Nuestros Niños Professional Development Program
This program provides K1 educators (teachers and paraprofessionals) that work with multilingual learners the opportunity to earn a 12 credit credential that can be used towards earning a bachelor’s or master’s degree. The program consists of 4 online courses taught across two years and includes in person place-based coaching. The program goals are to improve the teaching of language and literacy in young bilingual children and to enhance parents’ ability to promote their children’s language and literacy development. Participants will obtain an academic certificate in Teaching and Learning of Young Bilingual Children with tuition paid for by project funds. Early Childhood Learning Cohort: September 24, 5:30-7:00 on Zoom
Early Childhood Learning Cohort is designed to create a space for educators from across BPS to come together to strengthen our understanding of how to support inclusive, inspiring, and engaging classrooms and instruction for all young children in BPS classrooms. Each session will include presentations from school-based educators and will also include some “open space” for participant-led small group discussions.

Welcome Boston Educators!
Massachusetts Marine Educators (MME) is a dynamic, grass roots organization made up of classroom teachers, informal marine educators, students, educational institutions, and others interested in marine education.
Our goal is to develop a marine literate society and promote awareness of the ocean world by integrating marine studies into existing curricula. Our resource base is as strong as our membership. We welcome our members’ assistance with any of our projects.
Membership entitles you to all the services that MME provides, including our e-Newsletter, invitations to member events, networking with educators in the field, special member pricing for MME sponsored conferences, including our Annual Meeting and Conference at WHOI, and full access to MME Website and resources at https://www.massachusettsmarineeducators.org/
We also sponsor many professional opportunities throughout the year. Stay tuned!
Membership in MME runs from May 1 to April 30 renewable with the 2026 MME Annual meeting and Conference or at any time within that cycle.
