Boston Public Schools are making changes to school start times next fall. One hundred and five of the city’s 125 schools will have new bell times. Most high schools will start after 8 a.m., however some elementary and K-8 schools will start as early as 7:15 a.m.
Last night at a contentious meeting at Boston Public Schools headquarters, Superintendent Tommy Chang said, “Our goal here was to make the most equitable decisions for the entire school system.” But not all parents agree.
