Progressive West Roxbury/Roslindale will be hosting an event April 9 to provide an opportunity to learn about inequities in the Boston Public School system.
Progressive WRox/Roz has joined with NAACP-Boston, Lawyers for Civil Rights, JP Progressives, Downtown Progressives, Citizens for Public Schools, QUEST, and several other groups to form the Boston Coalition for Education Equity. The coalition is concerned with inequities that play out in different ways for Boston students, what policies other cities are using, and action steps to move forward.
The forum will highlight three case studies: “BPS Budgeting Hunger Games,” “Testing Towards Destruction,” and “Exam School Equity.”
