Some 200 parents packed a meeting in West Roxbury Monday, urging officials to shelve a controversial plan to change start times for most Boston public schools.
Parents decried the proposed schedule, slated to go into effect next September, as shortsighted and unworkable. The day would start too early for younger students, many said, and end hours before parents get home from work.
