Members of the School Superintendent Search Committee met with community members yesterday in the second of several public meetings, to discuss what they wanted to see from the new superintendent.

“They need to see the school as it is when they visit,” said parent Linda Freeman. “When officials come around they see a showcase, but we need to show the normal, show how we see it everyday.”

At the meeting, the committee focused on the strengths and challenges of the district as well as the characteristics residents wanted to see from the new leader.
