We are looking for an active BTU member to work part-time (10 hours/week) as a member organizer for an 8-week period. The compensation is $20/hour, and the work will include member engagement, 1-on-1 conversations with members, attending organizer trainings, and assisting with other projects. See the application. NEW — State of Latino Education Town Hall: Monday, October 1
When Jeff Riley was appointed State Commissioner of K-12 education, he committed to conducting a listening tour across our state. Our goal is to ensure it is well-informed by the voices and leadership of the Latino Community. Parents, families, and the broader Latino community are invited to this Latino Education Town Hall to lend their voice to the conversation on October 1 at the Bolling Building from 6:30-8:30.
