Barbara Ward taught Phys Ed at both English High School and Ohrenberger Elementary School for 34 years, and her friends and colleagues are holding a fundraising event for her on August 15.

Barbara was a standout athlete and was inducted into the English High School Hall of Fame, the Brookline High School Athletic Hall of Fame, and the New England Women’s Hall of Fame. She was an inspirational person who coached and mentored thousands of student-athletes in the BPS and in Brookline. She passed away from cancer three years ago.
