Seeking Volunteers: BPS City-Wide College and Career Fair on November 4
You are cordially invited to volunteer for the annual Boston Public Schools City-Wide College and Career Fair on Saturday, November 4. BTU Unafraid Educators and BPS Office of English Learners are collaborating together to host a resource table for our amazing group of career and college-bound immigrant students.Volunteers are needed for shifts from 9:30-11 AM, 10:30-12, and 11:30-1 at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center, 1350 Tremont Street in Roxbury. School Site Committee Reminders & Trainings
Contractual reminders: BTU Reps must hold elections for members to represent them on their school’s School Site Council (SSC) by October 15, and the first SSC meeting must be held by October 31. There are a variety of SSC trainings available. The first will be on Thursday, October 26. See the flyer for more.
