Dear Building Reps,
We are pleased to announce that we were recently able to secure a 55-passenger bus to bring interested BTU members and friends down to Washington, DC for the Women’s March on Washington.
We will be leaving from the BTU at 9:30 PM on Friday, January 20 to get to DC in time for the 10 AM Saturday start of the rally and march. We will then leave DC around 6 PM to return to Boston. We plan to be back by 1 or 2 AM (the early morning hours of Sunday, January 22).
The BTU will be subsidizing the half the cost of the transportation. To reserve your seat, we will need a nonrefundable $75 deposit. BTU members may purchase up to three seats for others, however, BTU members will be given priority on a first come, first serve basis. The check should be made to the Boston Teachers Union and mailed c/o Jeannie Turner. Or you can turn your check into the BTU office during office hours.
