Focused on Policy? AFT-BTU Teacher Leader Program
Elevate your voice and grow our collective power in learning to advocate for our students and our profession! AFT/BTU Teacher Leader Program Fellows engage with state and local policy makers and conduct action research in their classrooms and schools to explore the real impact of education policy. This program meets on seven Saturdays during the school year with a showcase presentation in May. There is a $1,500 stipend for program completion. Apply today. The final deadline is September 17. Renew and reinvigorate your practice in this teacher-led course. Earn graduate credit by conducting rigorous academic/action research into a question of practice important to you and your students.
