At the WriteBoston Science and Literacy Institute, teachers will engage in scientific explorations and questions that demand science literacy skills. The Institute for middle high school teachers will be July 23-26. See the flyer for more, and register online using this form.

Arnold Arboretum Summer Institute: August 13-16
This course, “Investigating Ecosystems through Field Work,” is specifically geared towards BPS teachers in grades 3-12 who want to learn about ways to use the outdoors to teach life science standards. It is free, and BPS participants who complete the four-day institute are guaranteed a free bus to bring students to the Arboretum. Read more and apply.

Place-Based Boston: A Teaching and Learning Collaborative is once again hosting a summer teacher professional development opportunity.
