Focused on Practice? The BTU Inquiry Project: Renew, Reinvigorate, Research

Conant Fellowship: Full Tuition Opportunity for Harvard GSE Masters
Join us for an HGSE Information Session for BPS Teachers and Administrators! We will provide information about HGSE’s degree programs and admissions process and the James Bryant Conant Fellowship, an opportunity exclusively for BPS and Cambridge teachers and administrators. Wonder of Learning Professional Development
The Wonder of Learning Boston exhibit has many opportunities for professional development for teachers, especially early childhood education. The exhibit runs from now until November at Boston University Wheelock College. Please see their website for upcoming events.
NEW — PD Certificates from 2017-18 School Year
All educators should have received PDP certificates through My Learning Plan or a hard copy at the end of last year. If educators in your school have not received certificates as required by contract, please contact your school administrator ASAP or your field rep if you need support.
Bullying Prevention and Intervention Trainings
Succeed Boston (formerly the Counseling and Intervention Center) is offering trainings on information and protocols for reporting and investigating bullying. These 12-hour, two-day trainings, as well as two-hour refresher courses, will be held quarterly throughout SY2018-19, after which participants will be certified as a Bullying Prevention and Intervention Specialist. These Specialists will be able to lead trainings in their home school each year and develop culture and climate to foster safe and welcoming schools.
