  • K1 Literacy Learning Site
    How do we embed literacy development in K1 classrooms? Join us for a Learning Site facilitated by K1 educators at Ellison Parks & Mildred Avenue K-8 that will address this question. It’s a half day professional learning experience where you can join together with colleagues, develop working theories towards a shared question, and see effective practices in action. There is also peer collaborative coaching post-learning site for an ALC credit or PDPs. In-person learning site on 1/27 or 2/3. RSVP

  • Spanish for BPS Educators
    The Office of World Languages is offering an introductory Spanish course entitled, “Spanish for BPS Educators.” This free course will be taught by a senior lecturer at Boston University and the BPS Director of World Languages and will run on a weekly basis from 1/18/23 to 4/12/23, Wednesdays from 4:00pm – 5:00pm. The goal of the course will be to communicate with BPS Spanish-speaking students and families at a Novice Level with an emphasis on intercultural competency. We will use Google Classroom as a platform to offer live sessions. 11 PDPs will be granted. Limited to 100 participants. To sign up, please fill out this Google Form by 1/13/23. Questions?
